As President and CEO of TD Bank, Mike Pedersen oversees retail and commercial banking operations of one of the one of the 10 largest banks in the U.S., with approximately 27,000 employees.

Prior to joining TD in 2007, Pedersen lived in London and led several international businesses, including Barclays’ global private bank. He also spent more than a decade at CIBC as a senior executive in retail and business banking.

Pedersen earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia in 1984 and a master’s degree in industrial relations from the University of Toronto in 1988. He is a former chairman of the Canadian Bankers Association. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife and three children.
