Apparently a Black person’s money is not as valuable as any other customer’s.
Video shows Carlotta Washington being subjected to assault, racial slurs and verbal abuse by an angry food truck owner, Islam Elmasry, after Washington tried to pay for her lunch with quarters.
Washington recorded the incident. The recording appears to start after Elmasry’s tantrum has started.

Just because you didn’t wanna take quarters, you’re calling me out on my name, you called me a n*gger, what else do you wanna call me Now you don’t have anything to say, do you”
Get the f*ck away from me,” Elmasry repeatedly says. He then reaches for a Gatorade bottle.
If you throw that at me ,” Washington starts to say.
And he does, knocking Washington’s phone out of her hand.
Not recorded is Elmasry shooting Sriracha sauce at Washington, getting it in her eyes.
It was in my eyes and all on my skin. It was burning terribly,” Washington told Willamette Week.
I didn’t ask for this, I just wanted to eat,” she said to KOIN 6.

In this case, at least, Elmasry faces charges of harassment and assault.
As for Washington She’s chosen forgiveness.
“I would 100% still support his business,” she told KOIN 6. “I don’t want anyone to do anything bad to this man, to his business, or to anything. Words are things that are going to be hard to get over but I want this man to know that he is forgiven.”
