Trump-Pence Campaign Releases ‘LGBTQ for Trump’ T-Shirts

No, this isn’t the Twilight Zone. This is really happening.

With Pride Month coming up, the Trump-Pence Campaign thought it would be a good idea to release official “LGBTQ for Trump” T-shirts. Seriously.

“Trump — who banned trans troops, is against LGBT employment protections, wants ppl to be able to turn away LGBT customers, & is denying citizenship to kids of US gay couples born out of wedlock — is selling LGBTQ for Trump shirts for Pride,” Buzzfeed Deputy Editor David Mack tweeted.

The hypocrisy is unreal and Twitter is not letting the president and his draconian minion Vice President Mike Pence get away with it.

“Trump releases LGBTQ Gay Pride t-shirt the same day this headline is in the news: Homeless shelters could deny transgender people under proposed Trump administration rule Let’s also not forget the trans military ban. You can’t make this shit up!” The Daily Angle tweeted.

“The programs impacted by this rule are life-saving for transgender people, particularly youth rejected by their families, and a lack of stable housing fuels the violence and abuse that takes the lives of many transgender people of color across the country,” Mara Keisling, executive director of the National Center for Transgender Equality, said in a statement to USA Today Wednesday.

President Donald Trump promised to defend LGBTQ Americans on his campaign trail. He lied. Here’s a breakdown of all of the things that Trump has done to harm LGBTQ people since taking office:

  • Removed information about LGBT rights from the White House website
  • Ended certain protections for transgender schoolchildren
  • Issued a ban on transgender people serving in the military
  • The White House ignored World AIDS Day
  • Trump’s budget proposed a cut to funding for AIDS and HIV research
  • Literally yesterday, the Trump administration could allow federally-funded homeless shelters to deny services to transgender people

But the real question that everyone wants to know is – does Pence know his name is on this shirt?
