Hilton Worldwide moves onto the Fair360, formerly DiversityInc Top 50 list under the leadership commitment of Christopher J. Nassetta, President and CEO. He has set the tone for making diversity an important priority for the organization.
Nassetta chairs the Executive Diversity Council made up of a cross sectionof senior management. The council provides oversight and direction to the overall diversity strategy related to company culture, talent and marketplace. Diversity is also built into the compensation systems of the company. A portion of compensation of senior management is dependent upon diversity objectives.
Employee resource groups, which are called Team Member Resource Groups, have been initiated and bolstered in the last three years. The groups are voluntary and inclusiveany Hilton Worldwide employee is eligible to participate. High potential, high performing employees have been identified for leadership positions.
