TD Donates $100,000 to Hurricane Florence Disaster Relief Efforts

The TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank, announced that TD is donating $100,000 to support immediate relief efforts in North Carolina and South Carolina in the wake of Hurricane Florence. TD will provide additional donations to support recovery efforts after impact assessments have been conducted to determine needs.


The relief assistance from the TD Charitable Foundation includes:
$50,000 to the American Red Cross of Cape Fear in North Carolina
$50,000 to the American Red Cross of Eastern South Carolina

“Through our donations for relief efforts and through our own initiatives to assist TD customers and employees in the path of Hurricane Florence, we’re ready to help our communities recover from this devastating storm,” said Greg Braca, President and CEO of TD Bank.

TD is prepared to deploy two Mobile Banking Centers to serve impacted customers and communities once needs are assessed.
In addition, eligible TD employees impacted by Hurricane Florence have access to a range of resources, including the opportunity to obtain grants of up to $1,000 from the bank to help with costs such as insurance deductibles, living expenses and repairs for storm-related damage.
