From The Company
TD’s commitment to diversity and inclusion is not only core to who we are;it’s critical to our success. Our mission is to cultivate a service-oriented, barrier-free culture that attracts, invests in, and promotes all talent, reflecting the diverse communities we serve. To support this, we launched the U.S. Diversity Sourcing Team to identify a pipeline of diverse talent. We also developed resources focused on ally enablement, inclusive leadership, microaggressions, and unconscious bias.
We take pride in creating a culture that celebrates the unique talents and contributions of everyone. In 2021, we continued to engage colleagues through initiatives like our third annual D&I summit. Over the course of four days, more than 11,000 colleagues came together to learn how to further foster inclusion and connectedness and generate deeper conversations while highlighting shared experiences.
To continue our commitment to combat racial inequities and provide opportunity in underserved communities, TD established a $100 million equity fund supporting minority-owned small businesses. We also anchored our programming approach to four strategic D&I drivers: lead the conversation, engage all leaders at every level, embed D&I throughout the employee life cycle and maximize the contribution of D&I across TD to power our customers and communities.
