Or is a tyranny of old people and a lack of leadership skills, most importantly mentoring and sponsoring the next generation, open for criticism?
I received a comment from a reader on my last column.
Here's the gist of it:
"I did not tweet or post (your last column) because of the ageist comment/s made about Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. I have no problem with them being criticized as lackluster, but not because of their age."
Here's my response:
Amid recent death threats against the congresswoman, a package suspected to contain Anthrax wasn't taken lightly.
Someone noticed a suspicious package sent to Rep. Maxine Waters' (D-Calif.) district office in South Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon addressed to "Anne Thrax." As Waters has recently received death threats, the authorities were contacted.
Republicans to let bill to disband the agency come to the floor.
The biggest four-letter word in the English language for Democrats has been Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Now they will get what they want thanks to Republicans in the House. "I was blessed with courage. And I was blessed with the kind of strength that does not allow me to be intimidated by the likes of Donald Trump," Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) said over the weekend.
After President Trump warned Waters to "Be careful" she received a serious threat.
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) has received increased death threats after she called for protestors to publicly question Trump officials. But this week, the congresswoman said she received "several very serious threats" leading to event cancellations.
Decades of incompetent Democratic leadership — and disregard for diversity — has taken us down this path.
The president followed his usual rush to judgment when an attack is carried out by a non-white perpetrator.
In the days following the terror attack that killed eight people in New York City on Tuesday, President Donald Trump has capitalized on the opportunity to push his anti-immigration agenda.
Even though Blacks are incarcerated at nearly six times the rate of whites, Sen. Tom Cotton says the bipartisan effort to reduce mandatory minimum sentences for non-violent crimes is "baseless."
The war on drugs of the 1980s and mandatory minimum sentences have both contributed to the United States comprising approximately 25 percent of the world's prison population — despite representing about 5 percent of the world's total population.
