Student Loan Agency Apologizes For Insensitive Tweet

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is apologizing after sending out an insensitive tweet that mocked “poor” college students.

At 9 pm Tuesday, the agencywhich collects financial data from students seeking federal loanssent out a tweet featuring a scene from the movie “Bridesmaids” with actress Kristen Wiig and the meme “Help me. I’m poor.” Attached was the message: “If this is you, then you better fill out your FAFSA.”
