The safety and security of our guests and Team Members is always our top priority. Given the number of Hilton hotels and resorts in the Caribbean, we are monitoring Hurricane Maria’s path and related storm warnings closely. Properties in Hurricane Watch/Warning areas have implemented their hurricane preparedness plans and emergency procedures in anticipation of the storm, and continue to stay in close contact with local authorities and tourism officials.
We recognize that many of our guests may experience difficulties while traveling and may require changes to their reservations. Our hotels in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and the Bahamas are waiving cancellation penalties for reservations arriving September 19 through September 23. We encourage guests to contact 1-800-HILTONS for the most recent information on cancellation policies across the portfolio.
