As we begin Black History Month, Southern Company Gas CEO Kim Greene sits down with Emmanuel Acho to talk about how we can make this month more than a moment. Acho is a New York Times best-selling author and the host/producer of Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man.
“I think the best way to honor and acknowledge Black History Month is to actually learn about Black history — study some of the great orators like Frederick Douglas, commit to amplifying black voices throughout history, or black voices present today,” said Acho in his conversation with Greene. “History is also occurring right now as we speak.”
