Biodiversity loss and climate change are interconnected. Protecting biodiversity can help mitigate and adapt to climate change. By 2030, Sanofi will achieve carbon neutrality across their entire value chain and implement local biodiversity programs to protect and foster biodiversity at all their sites worldwide.

“The protection of biodiversity and the sustainable use of natural resources are at the core of our environmental sustainability program, Planet Mobilization,” said Paul Hudson, Chief Executive Officer at Sanofi. “It’s about protecting the planet by taking action to preserve life.”

Sanofi is committed to the following:

  • Protecting biodiversity and natural resources
  • Limiting their impact on the environment and ecosystems
  • Raising awareness and mobilizing their collaborators

A list of Sanofi’s detailed commitments, such as implementing water management plans and organizing an annual World Environment Day, can be found on the Act4Nature website.
