San Diego Museum Council and Hilton Properties Announce 30th Annual San Diego Museum Month

One of the most anticipated events of the winter season is back and celebrating its 30th year in February. Locals and visitors to Southern California are invited to experience San Diego Museum Month with half-off admission at more than 40 museums in San Diego. Adding to the excitement this year, Hilton is joining San Diego Museum Council to offer the Experience the City Museum Month Package with the best deals at 29 Hilton properties across San Diego County with guests receiving their Museum Month pass at check-in. From historians at heart to entertainment seekers, there is something for everyone at participating museums during San Diego Museum Month in February 2019.


Since 1989, San Diego Museum Month has given visitors and locals in San Diego a chance to discover what’s new at the city’s best museums. This month-long promotion has grown to become a cultural tradition unrivaled in the United States, with nearly 30,000 visitors using the pass to enjoy half-priced admission last year. Hilton makes traveling to San Diego during Museum Month easy with locations in close proximity to all participating museums around the county. Guests who book the Experience the City package at any of the 29 participating properties will receive a Museum Month pass at check-in. Explore museums near the many Hilton locations throughout San Diego including Hotel del Coronado, Curio Collection by Hilton, where guests have the luxury of being a short ferry ride to museums such as the USS Midway and the San Diego Maritime Museum. San Diego Museum Month was created in 1989 to promote awareness of the region’s museums, historical sites, educational institutions and cultural offerings.
