From The Company
At Rockwell Automation, a key element of our culture and our people strategy is our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). Building on the strong foundation of our culture of inclusion, we expanded our approach to have an intentional focus on DEI. We are working to accelerate our progress in representation, engagement, retention and advancement for underrepresented groups.
In 2020, we led courageous conversations across the organization and built thoughtful programs to address barriers to advancement, such as “Sponsorship Across Difference” and “Managing Across Difference.” We added Martin Luther King Jr. Day as a paid holiday for all U.S. employees and increased our support for racial justice programming.
Our business objectives this year include increasing representation of diverse talent in key roles. Progress on organizational development and cultural transformation, including DEI, has been tied to executive compensation. Additionally, we have increased our investment in programming; committed to more rigorous data tracking and reporting; and set inclusive leadership behavior expectations for all mid to senior-level leaders.
This year, under the leadership of a new Vice President and Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer, we will revise and update our strategy to advance and globalize our work.
