Prosecutor who Called Maxine Waters C*** and B*tch Finally Placed on Leave

Nearly two weeks after his office discovered violent, threatening and racist posts on his social media accounts, San Bernardino County Deputy District Attorney Michael Selyem has been placed on leave.

“Being a loud-mouth c–t in the ghetto you would think someone would have shot this b—h by now,” Selyem reportedly wrote on social media, referring to Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.).

Selyem has been working at the DA’s office for 12 years and currently heads its gang unit.

District Attorney Mike Ramos said the DA’s office received “more than several complaints” about Selyem.

“There’s a line that you cross that it impacts the work of your office,” he said to the Associated Press. “The public has trust in us, and we have to be really careful.”

The public’s idea of being “really careful” would have been to terminate Selyem immediately, though, which many people called for including Democratic U.S. Rep. Pete Aguilar.

“We cannot allow racism and bigotry to have a place in our society, especially not in our government,” Aguilar said on Twitter.

Ramos told reporters that Selyem’s current cases will be reassigned and his closed ones will be reviewed “to make sure that justice was done.”

The San Bernardino Sun first shared screenshots of various posts from Selyem’s social media accounts, which have since been deleted.

Waters has been the victim of increasing violent threats since President Trump falsely claimed that Waters told people to harass his supporters.

The Sun reported that Selyem has also come after former First Lady Michelle Obama, posting an altered photo of her holding a sign that reads, “Trump grabbed my p*nis.”

And he said that a man shot by a police officer “deserved” to die. “That s***bag got exactly what he deserved. You reap what you sow. And by the way go f*** yourself you liberal s***bag,” he allegedly wrote, although it is not clear which shooting he was referring to.

“One of Selyem’s posts showed a man in a giant sombrero with the words, ‘Mexican word of the day: Hide,'” according to the Sun.

And, commenting on a post by alt-right publication Breitbart News, he reportedly wrote: “I am all for white males immigrating here legally and starting a business. It is the terrorist a**holes sneaking in here wanting to kill me an (sic) my family that I am opposed to. I cannot believe how shallow democrats are. They must really think people are stupid. I guess that is evident because they actually thought Hilary (sic) Clinton could win a presidential election TWICE!!! LMFAO!!!”
