Pro-Trump TV Host Threatens to Sexually Assault a Parkland Survivor, Show Cancelled

Jamie Allman, a pro-Trump, conservative TV pundit in St. Louis, Mo., is no longer on the air. Allman made a vile post on Twitter about sexually abusing Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg, causing advertisers to begin boycotting his show.

He hosted “The Allman Report” on the ABC affiliate KDNL, owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group. A spokesman for the company confirmed Monday night that Allman’s show is over.

“His show is canceled and he is off the air immediately,” Ronn Torossian, the CEO of the PR firm 5W, said in an email to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Based in Maryland, Sinclair is the largest owner of local television stations in the country and has come under scrutiny for interjecting conservative bias into local news coverage. Last week, President Donald Trump came to the network’s defense.

“So funny to watch Fake News Networks, among the most dishonest groups of people I have ever dealt with, criticize Sinclair Broadcasting for being biased. Sinclair is far superior to CNN and even more Fake NBC, which is a total joke,” Trump tweeted.

Hogg, a teen who survived the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., has been outspoken in advocating for gun control measures. Allman joins the chorus of infantile adults who choose to ridicule Hogg and other teens who are voicing their opinions.

On March 26, Allman made the outrageous post concerning Hogg:

“When we kick their a** they all claim we’re drunk. I’ve been hanging out getting ready to ram a hot poker up David Hogg’s a** tomorrow. Busy working. Preparing.”

Following his tweet, his account was locked so anyone who wanted to see his tweets first had to request permission to follow him. But, someone was quick to take a screenshot, the Riverfront Times reported.

Allman made his post two days before Fox News pundit Laura Ingraham’s controversial trolling of Hogg on Twitter after it was announced that he did not get into some top colleges. Ingraham’s bullying made many advertisers flee her program.

As the screenshot of Allman’s posting began to circulate on social media, advertisers including a Ruth’s Chris Steak House franchisee, The Gellman Team and PALM Health, began to pull away from his TV program. Prior to his tweet, Allman has also criticized Hogg on-air, calling him a “big complainer,” after he criticized his high school’s new requirement that students carry clear backpacks.

He also hosts a radio show, “Allman in the Morning,” on 97.1 FM KFTK.

But Allman wasn’t on the air Tuesday morning.

“Jamie’s taking a couple of days off,” a substitute host told The Washington Post shortly after 6 a.m., without further explanation.
