Yolanda Smith has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer of INROADS, a non-profit organization that forms pathways and careers for ethnically diverse students across the United States. Smith is an INROADS alumna and started working with the organization in 2021 as Executive Marketing Consultant.
Smith came to INROADS with 20 years of marketing, management and entrepreneurship experience. She’s worked for large brands like Home Depot and Kodak, where she integrated marketing programs that resulted in significant year-over-year sales increases.
So far at INROADS, Smith has redesigned website, program materials and social media marketing. She holds a MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Alabama A&M University.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to advance the mission of INROADS. As a proud INROADS alumna, I can personally attest to the impact of our programs. INROADS was my first introduction into the business world and set me on a trajectory for corporate and community leadership,” she said in a statement.
