Raices de Buena Salud Preview Event, Rutgers University

Raices de Buena Salud/ Roots of Good Health, is a new community health documentary series written and produced by William Sanchez, Executive Producer and Emmy Award winning director of Images/Imagenes, television program.

NJTV will air the film on Wednesday, November 5th at 8:30 pm. The educational goal of the documentary is to increase awareness of the social and cultural factors that compound illnesses in Latino communities in New Jersey. Join us to hear the stories and experiences shared by Latino/Hispanic families struggling to cope with critical illnesses such as diabetes, obesity, malnutrition, kidney and heart failure.

The documentary is narrated and hosted by John Quiones, award winning ABC reporter.

NJTV will air Raices de Buena Salud/ Roots of Good Health Part I: Children at Risk on Wednesday, November 5th at 8:30 pm.
