Oprah Winfrey’s 2020 Tour to Feature Big-Name Guests, Including Michelle Obama

Oprah Winfrey is going on tour, and the lineup includes former first lady Michelle Obama, Jennifer Lopez, Dwayne Johnson, Gayle King and Tracee Ellis Ross, among other big names.

Live Nation on Wednesday announced that the tour, called “Oprah’s 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus,” also will include appearances from Lady Gaga, Tina Fey, Amy Schumer and Kate Hudson. The wellness tour is presented by WW (Weight Watchers Reimagined). It will be produced in conjunction with Live Nation’s Women Nation, a new division dedicated to events led by women.

Winfrey will visit nine cities: Fort Lauderdale, Fla., St. Paul, Minn.; Charlotte, N.C., Brooklyn, N.Y., Atlanta, Dallas, San Francisco and Los Angeles. The last stop of the tour on March 7 will be in Denver with King as the featured guest.

In addition to the one-on-one interviews with celebrities, the wellness events will feature self-reflections, a dance exercise choreographed by Julianne Hough, inspirational guest speakers and a pre-show dance party.

Winfrey will interview Johnson in Atlanta, Obama in Brooklyn, Ross in Dallas and Jennifer Lopez in Los Angeles.

“What I know for sure is we can all come together to support a stronger, healthier, more abundant life —focused on what makes us feel energized, connected and empowered,” Winfrey said in a statement. “As I travel the country, my hope for this experience is to motivate others to let 2020 be the year of transformation and triumph — beginning first and foremost with what makes us well. This is the year to move forward, let’s make it happen in 2020!”

More than $1 million of proceeds made from the tour will go to the WW Good, a Weight Watchers Reimagined nonprofit that brings food to impoverished communities.
