- Novartis seeks to foster inclusive behavior as part of its company culture. It has developed learning modules to support leader and team behavior changes, including ones for inclusive leadership, active listening and psychological safety.
- Novartis has 49 active employee resource groups (ERGs), based mainly in the U.S. and Switzerland. One of these groups include the Diversability Support Network for people with disabilities and their allies. This ERG also supports managers and colleagues understand and support those with disabilities.
- Novartis is dedicated to achieving pay equity. It joined the Equal Pay International Coalition (EPIC) in 2018 and established a program to achieve pay equity and transparency across its operations globally by 2023.
