Warner Bros. Technology Hosts Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program

The Girls Who Code took over the Warner Bros. (a division of Time Warner No. 37 on the Fair360, formerly DiversityInc Top 50 Companies list) studio lot this summer as part of WB’s first Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program, hosted by Warner Bros. Technology. During the seven-week program, a group of high school girls received in-depth coding and technology education and were given an inside look at career possibilities in technology and entertainment.

The Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program was the first time many of these students were exposed to coding, as well as the behind-the-scenes action and technology used to make entertainment magic. These young women had the ultimate Warner Bros. experience that included mentorship from an impressive lineup of female tech executives and visits to DC Entertainment, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood.

Girls Who Code is a nonprofit organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology. WB Technology is committed to diversity and inclusion and aims to empower women and underrepresented communities with the skills to pursue careers in technology and entertainment.
