TD Charitable Foundation Awards $2.5 Million in Grants to Nonprofits Focused on Affordable Housing Initiatives

TD Bank's "Housing for Everyone" affordable housing grants will support the creation or preservation of affordable housing for single parent families.

Through its "Housing for Everyone" grant competition, TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank (No. 39 on the DiversityInc Top 50 Companies list), America's Most Convenient Bank, will help 25 grant winners provide homes for single-parent families.

The TD Charitable Foundation's 11th annual "Housing for Everyone" grant competition will award nonprofit organizations a total of $2.5 million in grants this year to bolster affordable housing efforts from Maine to Florida.

"There are so many single parent families in need of housing, so this year's campaign focus is very important," said Mike Rayder, Donation and Foundation Manager, TD Charitable Foundation. "Housing is a necessity for everyone, and we are invested in making a positive impact in our communities and supporting organizations that provide affordable, quality housing to those who need a bit of help."
