Ernst & Young LLP (No. 3 on the Fair360, formerly DiversityInc Top 50 Companies list) announced the appointment of Anita Holloway to managing partner of the firm’s Tulsa office effective March 1. Anita succeeds Cathy Gates, who is retiring on June 30, after more than 30 years of service with EY, including nearly 10 years as head of the Tulsa office.
“Our Tulsa office has thrived under Cathy’s outstanding leadership, and Anita’s extensive background as an assurance partner and strong ties to the community make her uniquely suited to build upon the momentum we have established,” said Randy Cain, Southwest Region Managing Partner, Ernst & Young LLP. “I am confident that under Anita’s leadership we will continue to make a meaningful impact on the businesses we serve in Tulsa, and carry on our 80-year tradition of providing quality audit, tax, transaction and advisory services in this region.”
An Oklahoma native, Anita brings 25 years of industry experience, including eight years in the Tulsa EY office. As an assurance partner, she has an extensive background serving clients ranging from international corporations to emerging businesses. In her new role, Anita will oversee delivery of the highest level of quality service to Tulsa-based clients and will work with local and region leaders to maintain a positive work environment for EY employees.

In addition to her leadership at the firm, Anita is actively involved in the Tulsa and greater Oklahoma communities. She currently serves on the boards of the University of Oklahoma Energy Institute, the Tulsa Area United Way and the University of Oklahoma Price College of Business Board of Advisors, and is also a graduate of “Leadership Tulsa.” Anita received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from East Central University, and is a certified public accountant in the states of Oklahoma and Texas.
