Accounting Professionals, Developers Pick ADP for Best HR Solution

A select group of users picked ADP for the first Accountex User Favorite Award for Best Human Resource Solution.

It's good to be number one, as ADP (No. 21 on the DiversityInc Top 50 Companies list) can attest thanks to the votes it recently received from thousands of accounting professionals and developers. That select group of users picked ADP for the first Accountex User Favorite Award for Best Human Resource (HR) Solution. The results of the balloting were announced during the 2016 Accountex USA Conference and Expoconducted last month in Las Vegas, Nev.

Previously known as the SleeterCon Accounting Solutions conference, this is the first time conference organizers have conducted the user favorite awards, which were voted on by accounting professionals during an open ballot posted on the Accountex website from June 1 to September 30. The awards were presented in partnership with the accounting publication AccountingWeb. Award candidates were taken from the Accountex Accounting Technology "Ecosystem," which categorizes companies into 27 different accounting technologies and solutions.

ADP outpaced 12 of its competitors for the HR user favorite award. The HR category is defined as "HR providers that assist an organization with regulatory compliance, but also make the process of managing employees much easier. From the hiring process to benefits enrollment, disciplinary action and even termination, all are covered in the HR solution showcase."

"Winners of the Accountex User Favorite Awards were selected from a competitive landscape by the people who use these solutions daily," said RD Whitney, global vice president of Diversified Communications and Accountex. "The scoring system was cumulative in categories where candidates were compared to direct competitors. We feel this is a valid indicator of how candidates are performing in the accounting technology space."

Accountex USA, formed by the acquisitions of The Sleeter Group in the United States and Accountex in the United Kingdom, is the only independent accounting technology conference and expo in the United States. The annual event offers accounting professionals and developers in-person education on current trends and technologies.

Under the Sleeter Group brand, Accountex continues to operate a membership community that provides professional training and development through networking forums, webinars, books, exams, newsletters, and research services for accounting professionals.
