Navy Celebrates Women's History Month

From the middle of the 19th century when women first served aboard a Navy hospital ship, to today where women serve as admirals and submariners, women have made great contributions to our Navy and have served bravely both at sea and ashore. Let’s reflect on the sacrifice and achievement of all the women who have served in or with the United States Navy past, present and future. Please take a moment to look at this infographic that illustrates their role in our service and makes their contributions a visible part of our history. (Click on image to download a PDF version.)
