Lisa Daniels Named Managing Partner of KPMG's Silicon Valley Office

KPMG LLP (No. 16 on the Fair360, formerly DiversityInc 50 Top Companies list) the U.S. audit, tax and advisory firm, has named Lisa Daniels as managing partner of its Silicon Valley office, effective January 1.

Daniels succeeds Tim Zanni, who was named Global and U.S. chair of KPMG’s Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) practice, as well as the Global and U.S. leader of KPMG’s Technology Sector practice.

In her new role, Daniels will be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the Silicon Valley office and for building on KPMG’s reputation as a great place to build a career.

I look forward to helping our clients navigate the opportunities and challenges ahead,” said Daniels. “I also am excited to lead a talented team of local KPMG professionals.”

Daniels has served as the managing partner of KPMG’s Phoenix office for the past five years and also brings substantial experience in the Technology industry. She possesses over 25 years of professional experience assisting global organizations with business and technology-related risks, as well as performing financial and systems audits.

During Daniel’s tenure as Phoenix managing partner, the office has been recognized as a Top 25 Workplace for Women and received the Alfred P. Sloan Award for Excellence in Workplace Effectiveness and Flexibility. Most recently, Daniels was recognized by AZBusiness Magazine in the publication’s inaugural list of the “50 Most Influential Women in Arizona Business” and in the Arizona Business Journal’s “Most Admired Leaders” class.
