Under the leadership of Chairman and CEO Beth Mooney, KeyCorp has continued to improve its recruitment, talent-development and supplier- diversity initiatives.
Mooney, who links executive compensation to diversity goals, chairs the34-member executive diversity council, which includes members of her executive leadership team. The council is moving from assessing progress using qualitative measures to quantitative measures, personalized to the areas of greatest impact in each business unit.
This year, the bank has focused its diversity-recruitment efforts with dedicated recruiters, better metrics to assess aggressiveness of efforts, and partnerships with hiring managers. Specific initiatives to recruit any on-board veterans and people with disabilities are being implemented.
