KeyBank ranked No. 18 on The DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity list in 2022.
In lieu of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day this month, KeyBank donated $25,000 to The Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change.
“Recognitions such as MLK Day help Key underscore its promise in Key’s promise to recognize, understand and celebrate the wide variety of cultural differences, personal attributes and backgrounds within the community,” the company said.
The King Center was established in 1968 by Mrs. Coretta Scott King. The institution serves the community by providing resources and learning opportunities about social activism, as well as the ability to pay respects to Dr. King’s legacy.
“Thank you to the King Center for the incredible work you do each day to advance Dr. King’s work and inspire the next generation to carry his legacy forward,” said Chris Gorman, Chairman and CEO of KeyBank.
