Kaiser Permanente honored for innovative, high-quality patient care and service.

Six Kaiser Permanente hospitals have been recognized among the world’s best hospitals by Newsweek magazine.

The recently published World’s Best Hospitals 2020 report lists Kaiser Permanente Moanalua in Hawaii, as well as Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles, San Diego, San Diego Zion, Woodland Hills, and Santa Clara in California, among the hospitals at the forefront of patient care and experience. This is the second consecutive year that Woodland Hills and Santa Clara medical centers have been listed.

Kaiser Permanente is one of America’s leading integrated health care providers, which serves more than 12.2 million members.

Hospitals were ranked based on expert feedback from tens of thousands of medical professionals from around the globe. The ranking also factors in results from patient surveys and patient satisfaction scores, as well as key medical performance indicators such as risk-adjusted mortality, readmission rates, and timeliness of care.
