For more than 130 years, Johnson & Johnson has made it a mission to help keep people healthy. And since human health and environmental health are inextricably linked, the company is dedicated to helping keep the planet healthy, too.

Take its commitments to achieving the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, its own Health for Humanity 2020 Goals and, most recently, Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc.‘s decision to sign on as a charter member of the New Plastics Economy Global Commitment, which includes a pledge to use more recycled materials in its packaging.

It’s clear that sustainability is a top priority for Johnson & Johnson, which is why Chairman and CEO Alex Gorsky accepted an invitation this week from John Visentin, Vice Chairman and CEO of Xerox Corporation, to share just why it’s so important to the company as part of the new #EmbracingSustainability Challenge.

The viral campaign was launched by Business Roundtable—an association of CEOs from America’s top companies—to show how corporate leaders are working to create a more environmentally, and economically, sustainable future.

In this video, Gorsky highlights just a few of the many ways Johnson & Johnson is doing just that—and passes the challenge baton to Chuck Robbins, Chairman and CEO of Cisco.
