The Corporate Social Responsibility Award demonstrates Sterilmed’s commitment to environmental stewardship, governance, empowerment and diversity. Nearly seven million devices and over two million pounds of waste were diverted by Sterilmed in 2016 alone, and for Intermountain, Sterilmed successfully integrated a sustainable purchasing process for reprocessed medical devices.[iii]
“Sterilmed is proud to receive this award, and proud to partner with Intermountain Healthcare to drive economic and environmental sustainability through proven solutions,” said David Hummell, Vice President, U.S. Sales and Marketing for Sterilmed. “We aim to help health systems minimize waste and generate more savings; and this recognition proves we are succeeding.”
