From The Company

In December 2020, Humana became a founding company partner of OneTen, an organization of 37 (and counting) cross-industry CEOs committed to a shared goal to train, hire and advance one million Black Americans into family-sustaining jobs. 

Our pledge and participation in OneTen is a meaningful step toward closing a disparity gap and advancing diverse talent. By delivering on our Human Care promise, we are providing opportunity and strengthening the communities we serve.

Looking ahead, our top priorities include a continued promise to enhance a diverse talent pipeline from acquisition to retention and advancement. Humana recently created a new leadership role: Director, Diverse Talent Strategy. Operating with shared accountability to the VP, Talent Management and Chief Inclusion and Diversity, the Director, Diverse Talent Strategy will lead a team focused on maximizing opportunities for current and future diverse Humana associates. 

Additionally, we will increase leader accountability with I&D performance management integration and expand cultural competency training and engagement opportunities for all associates. We will close equity gaps by partnering with the new Chief Health Equity Officer and expand our support of social justice organizations that aim to remove underlying barriers to equity. We will also launch a partnership with MentorclIQ, to leverage digital solutions for our mentoring programs with the goal to scale mentoring relationships throughout the organization and will expand our sponsorship program.
