TEL AVIV, Israel – Hilton Tel Aviv has introduced a refreshing and original cocktail menu celebrating the cities and neighborhoods of Israel. The series of 11 drinks will be available over the Summer at the Lobby Restaurant & Bar and Terrace overlooking the Mediterranean at Hilton Tel Aviv, Israel.

From Mount Hermon in the north to Eilat in the south, mixologist Ms. Shahar Kreisler has created an exciting menu sure to tantalize the taste buds of visitors. “It is a dream come true to showcase my country via creative cocktails, presenting Israel in an original and unconventional way,” says Kreisler.

  • The Kinnert cocktail (Lake of Galilee) emphasizes the distillation of cherries that characterize the area agriculture
  • Mount Hermon cocktail is based on Egg Liqueur, popular in ski sites
  • Safed cocktail was prepared as a homage to the Negroni cocktail, (made with gin, vermouth rosso and Campari, garnished with orange)
  • The Haifa cocktail contains gin produced in the city’s bay area and includes spices of Hyssop and Juniper growing near the city
  • The Judean Mountains cocktail includes raisins to mark the many vineyards and wineries in the area
  • The Kerem Hateymanim (Yemenite Vineyard) cocktail pays homage to a neighborhood in Tel Aviv originally populated with immigrants from Yemen. The beverage is dominated by syrup that contains Hawaij, the name given to a variety of Yemeni ground spice mixtures

The menu also includes The Mahane Yehuda Market cocktail, which contains spices that characterize the well-known Jerusalem market; a Hilton Beach cocktail with tropical ingredients that must be sipped on beaches; Beer Sheva cocktail, characterized by orange, the color of the desert where this city is located; The Dead Sea cocktail, containing salt water symbolizing the saltiest and lowest sea on earth; and the Eilat cocktail, containing ingredients that give you a feeling of maximum coolness that this resort town on the red sea deserves.

The menu is available to the public during the summer, from 9 a.m. to 5 a.m., except on Saturdays and high holidays.
