Hilton Celebrates Resiliency in Hospitality With 2021 Development Awards

Hilton revealed its 2021 Americas Development Awards which recognize the achievements of owners, development partners and hotel teams in the Americas across several categories.

These annual awards celebrate the resiliency and commitment of our owners and team members who spread the light and warmth of hospitality, even during incredibly challenging times.

“We are incredibly proud to recognize the owners and developers who are recipients of the 2021 Americas Development Award winners,” said Danny Hughes, Executive Vice President and President, Americas, Hilton. “Over the last year, we’ve seen blockbuster seasons of travel across the Americas, creating opportunities for our partners to welcome guests to their hotels in exciting destinations throughout the region. From our legacy properties to our new developments, we are thrilled to add more exceptional hotels to our portfolio and look forward to the bright future ahead.”

Americas Development Awards

The Americas Development Awards recognize the passion, creativity and innovative spirit of Hilton developers and owners. This year, the Hilton Development team selected 53 winners based on distinct criteria such as quality of hotels developed and in operation, commitment to quality of projects, impact on local community and early adoption of newer brands. The 2021 awards include: Lifetime Achievement Award, Multi-Brand Developer of the Year, New Developer of the Year, Dual-Brand of the Year, Developer of the Year by Category, New Build of the Year by brand and Conversion of the Year by brand.
