Two Florida police officers have lost their jobs after an FBI informant claimed that they are members of the Ku Klux Klan.
According to a Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) report, Fruitland Park Police Department Deputy Chief David Borst and Officer George Hunnewell were identified as members of the Ku Klux Klan by the Klan’s Grand Dragon in Florida. Borst resigned after meeting with Police Chief Terry Isaacs (Borst says he was given the choice to resign or be fired, which Isaacs denies) and Hunnewell was fired.
