Federal Court Issues Historic Ruling Prohibiting Sexual Orientation Discrimination

WASHINGTON The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) this week announced that a federal court has denied a motion to dismiss a sex discrimination lawsuit filed by EEOC, ruling that sexual orientation discrimination is a form of sex discrimination prohibited by Title VII of the Civil Rights of 1964.
