Famous Nevada Brothel Owner Wins GOP Primary

An official pimp is now an official state assembly nominee in the Republican Party, which refers to itself as the party of family values.

Dennis Hof, star of the HBO adult reality series “Cathouse,” the owner of at least six legal brothels in Nevada and author of “The Art of the Pimp,” won a Republican primary for the state legislature on Tuesday. Hof defeated a three-term incumbent.

“No other pimp has ever done this before,” Hof told TheWrap of his primary win. “I don’t let things happen, I make them happen. I take the bull by the horns.”

The 71-year-old has billed himself the “Trump from Pahrump,” a region in Nevada.

President Donald Trump, who reportedly committed adultery with a porn star and a Playboy model as his third wife was tending to their baby, was the inspiration behind Hof running.

“It’s all because Donald Trump was the Christopher Columbus for me,” he told the Associated Press. “He found the way and I jumped on it.”

Trump parlayed his reality TV tenure and businesses into a political career and Hof plans to do the same.

Roger Stone, who has been an advisor to Trump, is also known for his sexual adventures. Stone held a rally with Hof campaigning on national issues.

Anti-sex trafficking activists and religious groups have formed a coalition launching referendums to ban brothels in two of the seven Nevada counties where they are legal. In the state, most brothels operate in rural areas but are forbidden in the counties that contain Reno and Las Vegas.

Hof’s reality TV show “Cathouse” is set at The Moonlite Bunny Ranch where he’s made a living off of women and selling sex.

In 2017, Hof told TheWrap that Vladimir Putin was wrong when he claimed that Russian prostitutes are “undoubtedly the best in the world.”

“Bunny Ranch girls are offering Putin a two-hour bondage cage session for some intense discipline,” he said. “They want to show him just how talented they are.”

In November, Hof will face Democrat Lesia Romanov for the seat in the Republican-leaning Assembly district.
