Ernst & Young’s Ellen Glazerman Receives American Accounting Association’s Lifetime Service Award

Ellen Glazerman, the Executive Director of the Ernst & Young Foundation, as well as the Americas Director of University Relations is the recipient of the American Accounting Association’s (AAA) Lifetime Service Award. The award honors those who contribute to accounting education through educational and other service to the AAA, professional organizations, public accounting firms, corporations and non-profit organizations.

Glazerman joined EY in 1993. From 1996–2001, she worked in recruiting for the company in support of its assurance and tax practices as the Americas Director of Campus Recruiting. From 2001–2003, she began the role of analyzing corporate giving throughout EY.

Her work also expands to non-profits, including work with the Forte Foundation Board of Directors, an organization that works to inspire women’s business leaders. She is also on the Board of Directors for the AACSB as well as the Haas School of Business’ Center for Financial Reporting. She is also on the Tyra Banks’ T-Zone Foundation Board of Directors and the New York-based Gina Gibney Dance Company Board of Directors, which has a mission is community involvement.

EY was No. 1 on Fair360, formerly DiversityInc’s 2017 Top 50 Companies for Diversity list, and is part of Fair360, formerly DiversityInc’s Top 50 Hall of Fame.  It was also No. 4 on this year’s specialty list, “Best Companies for Talent Acquisition, No. 5 on “Top Companies for Mentoring,” No. 3 on “Top Companies for Executive Women” and others.
