EY Recognized as a Leader in Cyber Resiliency Services by Nelson Hall

  • EY identified as a leading provider for client capability and supporting tools
  • EY positioned as a leader due to strong end-to-end capabilities

EY has been recognized by NelsonHall as a leader for Cyber Resiliency Services in the Consulting and Strategy Formation market segment in their report, NEAT Evaluation for EY: Cyber Resiliency Services.

The NelsonHall Vendor Evaluation & Assessment Tool (NEAT) analyses the performance of vendors offering cyber resiliency services. NEAT allows strategic sourcing managers to assess the capability of vendors across a range of criteria and business situations and identify the best performing vendors overall, as well as in a number of specific market segments.

EY being recognized as a leader in the Consulting and Strategy Formation market reflects EY teams’ ability to meet future client requirements as well as provide immediate benefits to cyber resiliency services clients. Cyber resiliency in this context involves business drivers, governance and compliance, technology protection, operations and resiliency, and aims to identify risks and key assets and sustain a company-wide cybersecurity system.

EY cyber resiliency services are built from the extensive business consulting capabilities. This broad consulting capability gives EY teams the ability to view cyber resiliency as part of a wider business operation and continuity program.

The EY cybersecurity service aims to increase the security positions of clients through the design and implementation support of security strategies, processes and technologies. In recent years, EY cybersecurity presence has been expanding through several investments, acquisitions and collaborations.

Kris Lovejoy, EY Global Advisory Cybersecurity Leader, says:

“We are delighted to be named as a leader in Cyber Resiliency Services by NelsonHall. Given EY teams’ research capabilities and commitment to technology innovation and service delivery excellence, particularly within the domain of cybersecurity and resilience, it is a pleasure to be recognized. With the continued growth of EY cyber services across the globe through investments, acquisitions and strategic alliances, we look forward to providing end-to-end services to EY clients.”

Clinton Firth, EY Africa, India & Middle East (AIM) Advisory Cybersecurity Leader, says:

“Resiliency is evolving to be of strategic importance to organizations as they focus on how they can continue operations and services to clients despite any incident that may cause disruption. Organizations are rapidly becoming aware they cannot detect, protect or even predict major incidents, and the key is to focus on absorbing the shock within their ecosystem with minimal disruption. This can only be achieved by adopting a resilient mindset, culture and operations framework.”

The NEAT evaluation report highlights that EY teams possess strong consulting capabilities, covering detailed resiliency from a cyber and business risk standpoint.

Mike Smart, Lead Analyst, NelsonHall, says:

“NelsonHall positioned EY as a Leader in Cyber Resiliency Services due to strong end-to-end capabilities that allow organizations to view cyber resiliency as part of a wider business resiliency operation. It integrates legal obligations and sector-specific resiliency. Key contributors to EY’s positioning were its simulation services, which includes its Active Defense consultancy services, and its threat management capabilities.”
