EY has been recognized by IDC as a leader in two of its studies: IDC MarketScape: Asia/Pacific Managed Security Services 2020 Vendor Assessment, and IDC MarketScape: Asia/Pacific Professional Security Services – Advisory, Assessment, and Awareness 2020 Vendor Assessment. The first study evaluates 19 vendors providing managed security services within the Asia-Pacific using 29 different market determining criteria and customer feedback. The latter evaluates 17 different vendors’ capabilities and strategies through research and industry insights. In both assessments, IDC identifies EY as one of the leaders in 2020.

Richard J. Watson, EY Asia-Pacific Cybersecurity Risk Advisory Leader, says:

“EY investments in technology have enhanced managed security services and professional security services in the Asia-Pacific, and the organization has seen strong growth as a result. EY teams serve a diverse range of clients from financial services, government, and commercial organizations. As IDC has highlighted, EY cyber managed services bring leading capabilities to each client in the region by offering flexible services, tailored to individual needs. We’re proud to be recognized by IDC as a leader in Asia-Pacific in these two studies.

Krishna Balakrishnan, EY Asia-Pacific Cybersecurity Managed Service (CMS) Leader, says:

“As noted by IDC, EY focuses on trust by design, with outcomes assessed by the effectiveness of cyber defense and risk management. Through this approach, combined with continued investment in new innovations and leveraging emerging technologies, EY teams are providing leading managed security services and professional security services at competitive price points. It’s a success story for the EY organization, and clients, and we are pleased to see IDC recognize these achievements in Asia-Pacific.”
