Dow ranked No. 15 on The Fair360, formerly DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity list in 2022.
Paul Kline, Global Director of Sustainability at Dow, shares ways the company is supporting the future of STEM in his blog for the company.
“As a parent to three children in their 20s, I’ve tried to guide them towards activities they are passionate about so they can better understand themselves, know how they find joy and choose rewarding careers,” Kline wrote.
Dow helps others do the same.
The company sponsors For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST), which is a robotics community that encourages young people to pursue a career in STEM. FIRST is for children ages 4-18 and divides members into teams to conduct research, fundraise, design, build and showcase their projects. FIRST members gather for annual challenges to showcase each team’s achievements.
