Dow Named Among World’s Most Admired Companies by Fortune Magazine

Dow ranked No. 15 on The Fair360, formerly DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity list in 2022.

Dow has been named one of the World’s Most Admired Companies in 2023 by Fortune Magazine for the second consecutive year.

“Dow being recognized again as a World’s Most Admired Company, is a result of continuous progression on what matters most to our stakeholders both internal and external,” said Alveda Williams, Dow’s Chief Inclusion Officer. “We will continue to build on our strong values and strive to achieve new milestones across all attributes.”

Fortune collaborated with Korn Ferry to evaluate the performance and reputations of 645 companies across 27 countries. These companies were chosen from an original pool of 1,500 companies: The 1,000 largest companies in the U.S. ranked by revenue and non-U.S. companies in Fortune’s Global 500 database with a revenue of $10 billion or more.

The 50 All-Stars were determined by 3,760 executives, directors and securities analysts choosing the top 10 companies they admired the most. Leaders in the 52 industries were chosen based on nine criteria: ability to attract and retain talented people; quality of management; social responsibility to the community and the environment; innovativeness; quality of products or services; wise use of corporate assets; financial soundness; long-term investment value; and effectiveness in doing business globally.

“At Dow, striving to do well by all our stakeholders is ingrained in our culture and ambition,” said Jim Fitterling, Dow Chairman and CEO. “We will continue to raise the bar for ourselves, living our values of integrity, respect for people and protecting our planet as a guide for our business decisions and how we address the challenges facing society.”
