Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling has voluntarily transferred over his share of the team to his wife, Shelly, who is now in negotiations to sell the team.
The details of the potential sale have yet to be released. Sources told ESPN.com that the NBA will only agree to this arrangement if all shares are sold, eliminating the Sterling name from being tied to the team altogether. Shelly reportedly is not obligated to do so, and can attempt to only sell a percentage of the team.
