In trying to find a way to showcase the diversity-management efforts of locally based organizations that can’t compete on the scale of national and multinational corporations, we conducted a competition based on a 50-question subset of The Fair360, formerly DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity survey.
It included essential questions in the four areas we measureCEO Commitment, Human Capital, Corporate and Organizational Communications, and Supplier Diversity. We invited companies in 24 Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs), mostly in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and New England, to participate. Here are five organizations that stood out, in their ranked order.
