Cox Communications(No. 18 on the Fair360, formerly DiversityInc Top 50 Companies list) announced unlimited free calling to friends and family in storm impacted areas in the Caribbean for its Cox Digital Telephone customers. Any calls from Cox Digital Telephone customers to landline and wireless telephone numbers in the Caribbean will be free Sept. 8 through Sept. 24, 2017. The free calling period is automatic for all Cox Digital Telephone customers with a Cox Long Distance service plan.
Customers do not need to take any action to receive this discount. It will automatically be applied to their account for long distance calling to the British Virgin Islands, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Turks and Caicos, U.S. Virgin Islands and the Bahamas.
Cox Contour customers who may be away from home due to the Hurricane Irma can also stay connected to storm coverage or other programming via the Contour App.
