“It is an honor to work for a company that champions inclusion and diversity in the lives of our employees, our customers and the communities we serve. Cox Communications continues to thrive because of our longstanding commitment to leveraging the unique talents of our people to connect with our customers, innovate our products and services and partner with our suppliers to create a better world.”
From The Company
Cox Communications has a long history of inclusivity. We ensure that diversity, inclusion and equity are woven into interactions with our employees, our customers, the communities we serve and diverse suppliers. We champion inclusion by valuing every voice in our organization.
In the past year, our Employee Resource Groups (ERG) have hosted speed mentoring events, dynamic book discussions and numerous development opportunities across the country. Due to COVID-19, all these events were virtual. That did not stop engagement, as ERGs hosted hundreds of employees per event.
In response to the murder of George Floyd, we hosted listening sessions for all employees. Most recently, we held sessions in response to the uptick of hate crimes against Asian Americans. Employees felt supported, heard and validated.
In response to social injustice and racism, we created Actions Speak toolkits designed to provide resources (books, videos, websites, online classes). This information is available to all employees so they can build their cultural competence.
Empowering every employee builds on our company culture of inclusion and equity for all.
Whether it is with our customers, our employees or the communities we serve, we respect differences. We will continue to forge ahead.
