In 2021, we further accelerated our robust Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) strategy in collaboration with Sanofi North America’s Executive Diversity and Inclusion Council, HR, Total Talent, and ERGs. We established diversity operating reviews with senior leaders to amplify quantitative and qualitative DE&I progress to ensure sustained leadership commitment and accountability. Our continued partnership with DiversityInc reflects how we are All In to build workforce diversity, create an inclusive workplace culture, and positively impact diversity at Sanofi and in society.

From The Company

In 2021, we launched the North America Diversity Equity and Inclusion strategy and plan with three key pillars: Reflect (building workforce diversity), Unleash (creating an inclusive workplace culture) and Transform (engaging with our diverse communities).

We dedicated our first inaugural Inclusion Month in October 2021 to celebrate the rich diversity in our organization and within the communities we serve.

Juneteenth was approved as a paid Sanofi holiday for U.S. employees to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States.

We launched three new race/ethnicity-specific Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) as strategic partners to our business.

We were recognized by DiversityInc in the Top 50 companies for Diversity, received 100 on Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equity Index, and were listed as top companies by DisabilityIn and Working Mother/Seramount for both Moms and Dads.

Looking ahead, we will continue to rigorously accelerate progress towards our diversity ambition by:

Following multiple strategies to increase the representation of women in senior leadership and People of Color in our workforce.

Engaging with diverse communities by partnering with our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team to create volunteering programs, continue to execute our supplier diversity strategy, and ensure our clinical trials include diverse representation.
