Comcast NBCUniversal’s 2019 Values in Action Report

At Comcast NBCUniversal (No. 6 on the DiversityInc Top 50 Companies list), we believe we are at our best when we are working to educate, entertain and empower people and communities. This is why we focus year-round on building meaningful connections to the communities we serve across our company.

On July 10, we released our 2019 Values in Action Report, a summary of some of the key priorities that reflect our values, as well as the stories that help bring those values to life each and every day. In the report, you will find a rich variety of data about how we are working to meet our goal of building a best-in-class approach to Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) and how we are engaging in local and national partnerships that are providing invaluable resources to advance greater opportunity, diversity and digital inclusion in our communities, and in our society.

The foundation of our work starts with our people, and we strive to continuously cultivate a company where D&I is embedded in our identity, our work and our vision for the future. Throughout the years, Comcast NBCUniversal has not wavered in our long-standing commitment to infuse D&I into all aspects of our organization, with particular focus on governance, workforce, supplier diversity, programming, and community impact.

This commitment is directly reflected in our corporate responsibility efforts to strengthen communities, increase technology access and digital skills, and leverage our far-reaching storytelling platforms to connect people around the world. Through volunteerism and leadership development, we partner with nonprofit organizations to champion initiatives that promote equity and inclusion in local communities. We also invest in the tools, resources, and training that community members need to fully participate in the 21st-century economy.
