Leaders and CEOs from Novant Health, Lowe’s Companies Inc., Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, DiversityInc, TIAA (No. 9 on The 2020 DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity list) and the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance (CLT Alliance) will gather digitally on Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 10 a.m. for a roundtable titled “Exploring the Impact of Racial Inequalities.”
The CLT Alliance said the purpose of the roundtable is to “engage in a meaningful dialogue about racial inequalities and efforts to build and grow a more inclusive workforce.”
DiversityInc CEO Carolynn Johnson will provide a data-driven context of equity in the business world.
The event will then move on to a roundtable discussion on the cultural and societal impact of racial inequalities within the United States. Speakers in the session will include:

Marvin Ellison, CEO of Lowe’s Companies Inc.
Roger Ferguson, President & CEO TIAA
Dr. Tunde Sotunde, President & CEO Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC
CLT Alliance President and CEO Janet LaBar will conclude the event with a “final reflection” on the impact of racial inequalities in the business community.
