Capital One on Creating Connections at Work Through Shared Heritage and Culture

How does your background help you at work? When Carla and Ali meet for the first time, they discover how their Hispanic/Latinx heritage has helped influence their worldview and why they’re thankful that Capital One lets them bring their whole selves to work.

For Ali, being herself at work makes her more productive and she feels her uniqueness is appreciated. Not only does she have a seat at the table, but is an important voice in the room. Carla details how having a foot in two cultures has even helped her to be more empathetic and understanding of the many ways people can view the world.

Both Carla and Ali feel their background and experiences are valued and that at Capital One, every voice is heard and matters.
