Belinda Tang was named IBM’s Vice President of Global Diversity in January 2014. During her career at IBM she has worked in general management, finance and human resources.

Previously, Tang was Vice President, Human Resources, Global Business Services, IBM Growth Markets, based in Shanghai. She was responsible for talent management in IBM’s consulting and application management services business in eight regions: Greater China, ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations), India, Korea, Australia, Latin America, Africa and Middle East, and Central and Eastern Europe.

She has also served as Vice President, Human Resources, Global Business Services North America, based in New York City. She began her IBM career in Canada, where she held various leadership positions including Treasurer, IBM Canada and General Manager, IBM Global Financing.

Tang earned a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Toronto and a master’s degree in human resources management from York University.
